   Ive dropped the phone several times and love that the phone is 100% protected in the case. However, there's not much air flow so the phone gets hot quickly and the case is bulky so it doesn't fit into my gimble or selfie stick. If your're just looking to hold your phone not in the triple digit heat in the central CA valley then this case is for you.

However, the case is quite heavy, which may not be ideal for those who prefer a lighter, more streamlined feel.    Very solid case and I like the metal and the tough feeling holding in hand. However, there are two main flaws: back magnetic ring not useable at all when with the case, have to buy another old style car mount; signal loss significantly, I frequently stay at some places with weak signal, without the case it is enough to do my work on phone, however, with the case, it is totally offline. So I have to give up this one, although I really like the design and material. Hope the manufacturer can solve the two problems in later versions and I definitely will go back for this case.

   I have found this case to be very strong. I like the silicone jacket it sits in and how all 4 sides of the silicone are exposed to facilitate your grip on the phone. The 6 screws ensure even pressure and bottom out to ensure proper torque to seal your phone in the case.
   What I didn’t like was the case didn’t come with everything it should have to clean the screen properly to ensure no dust or hair which meant it took more than 2 tries to get everything cleaned with no streaks and no debris, which the black “lent free cloth” that was in the kit was part of the problem.
   After just a week I’m already showing signs of scratches on the screen protector just from sliding the phone in and out of my pocket. Since the screen protector is attached to the front frame this means that the case will either have to be replaced or maybe you might be able to knock out the screen protector and maybe use a glass screen protector if the case will allow it.
   In any case the current screen protector is the biggest down side to the case, other the added weight to the phone.

   WHOA. This case puts the heavy in heavy duty. It is one SOLID iPhone protector. Installation was easy, with everything you need right in there: Allen wrench, extra screws, a cleaning cloth. It didn’t take that long to set my new iPhone in, and once it was in, it was IN. There is a definite weight to this case. My last phone was in a case brand known for their protection, and one of the camera lenses still broke. The raised lip around the camera on this case has me feeling a lot more confident. It’s raised enough fo protection, but not so much that it interferes with photos. All of the buttons work, even the camera sliders.
   Just in case you were wondering, this is not MAG safe. It doesn’t claim to be, so this is not a critique of the product, this is just to let you know if that is something you are looking for. I tried it with a magnetic external battery and it doesn’t not attach.
   
   I will be using this case for hiking or when I am out and about. I tend to be pretty tough on my electronics and am extremely clumsy, so a case that takes my iPhone’s safety seriously is a must for me. I”m feeling very confident in this one.
   
   Update: Also, you better not lose that extremely tiny hex bolt, or you won't be able to get the phone out. I'm not sure why they didn't just use regular screws, so it would be easy to remove with a tool many people have. I removed a star because this inconvenience isn't necessary.
