I have a couple reasons for deducting a star. First, there are that rubber "bumpers" on each corner that comes off and gets lost WAY too easily, especially the bottom left one. Although they send an extra set, I've already lost the second set of the bottom left. Also, the case is quite flexible, which can be a positive, but after each fall, it sort of "bends" out of shape. I've had to take it off, bend it back into shape, and put it back on. I also had to reinforce the junction where the top and bottom sections meet with some tape to minimize the "rattling".
To me, these were minor annoyances, and I am overall very pleased with how this case looks and performs. If you're looking for a minimalist, unique looking case for your S24U, without compromising on protection, I would give this one a try.

First off, I ordered one of these for my S24 Ultra and amazon sent me one for the smaller S24 models. I ordered another and thankfully they sent the right one this time. Installation is a snap. It literally snaps together only one way. Holds securely and after an initial period of getting used to only that on the frame while in my hand, but it didn't take long. As small as it is, it definitely makes a difference in the overall weight of the phone. My cases were never really very bulky or heavy, so it was never a concern but I was definitely a little surprised at how much extra weight the phone is. Personally it did not bother me, but you might be different and therefore I thought it pertinent to bring up just in case...so keep that in mind.
The ring on the back supposedly allows this case to also be compatible with wireless charging...and the TRUTH is, it CAN charge wirelessly...B-U-U-U-T there is a pretty big caveat here, not every charger will work with it. I own at least a dozen wireless charging devices/batteries and I've found that charging is hit or miss. My bedside charger also can charge a Galaxy Smart Watch and the Galaxy Buds at the same time...well, it won't work. Period. I have a bedside lamp with a built-in wireless charger and it'll work on my phone with the case, but even then it's been crazy finicky about placing the phone 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙮 otherwise nothin' happens. Or, on occasion, I'll place it so close to the optimal placement it'll register that it starts to charge, but after a few seconds stops because I didn't place it in the EXACT spot needed and that has been endlessly frustrating. I discovered my combination charger by Raycon actually works pretty reliably, but so far, very few of my charging pads actually work well enough that I'll keep using them regularly.
The whole convenience of wireless charging is it allows you to just sit your device down and it'll start charging without you needing to worry about it. But with this case that just simply isn't the case. My opinion is don't even bother purchasing unless you KNOW that you either don't need wireless charging or that your charging pad is one that works reliably with this case, otherwise you are setting yourself up for some serious disappointment. FYI.
Other than that, I find that I genuinely like this case and certainly how it looks is a big part of that. But is that enough to make you feel like you want one too...? That is a question only you can answer. I hope this helps.
I definitely can say I am pleased with the case and the way it looks. The difference in bulk on the back where the ring comes into place. It definitely feels weird in the hand because we're all used to either a flat phone or a flat case back there. It definitely will take some getting used to.
One major con is that it does not have wireless charging.
Protection wise, I do feel that it can adequately protect the phone, as long as you aren't super rough on your phone.
The installation process is really simple. The button installation works great, and makes it easy to install and remove on the phone. Time will tell if the button holds up, but so far it has held up well with the couple install/remove processes I've done. It fits on the phone pretty well, and not too loose on any corners.
I did remove one star for the bulk on the back, as it relates to wireless charging. To be clear, wireless charging DOES WORK!!! But it does not work well. Setting the phone down onto your wireless charging pad or device can be tricky to get it to start charging. And because of the bulk on the back of the case, it can cause the phone to heat up significantly more than if you had a thinner case on it. I can't imagine this is good for the battery long term, so I have set up my wireless charging to "slow charge" my battery overnight if I set it on the wireless charging pad.
The kick stand on the back is pretty slick, and it's nice to have the option to rotate it around and stand up the phone at all the different angles imaginable. I don't use the feature much, but it's nice when I do.
